Having just recently started in the industry I’m trying to soak in as much information as I can. I want to learn as much as I can from those who have been through it all. I’ve found many helpful people at the various adult webmaster forums including Cozy Forums, Klixxx, Zipped Sites, AWI and Oprano. When I found out about INTERNEXT I knew this was a must for me. Here I had the chance to finally put faces with the names I’ve run across in the forums, learn some more from all the speakers at the various seminars and generally get a good feel for what the industry really is at it’s grassroots level. Douglas, chairman of the Free Speech Coalition and a criminal-defense lawyer, says the regulations accomplish “absolutely nothing.” Existing laws barring distribution of child pornography already are “sufficient incentive,” he says, to keep adult-oriented businesses from publishing images of minors.
