The future of porn

Where is it headed? I’ve been enjoying porn for a good long time now and I’ve seen many changes of the years. I remember when I was growing up I used to sneak into my dad’s office to scope out his porn magazines. There I found one of my first experiences of sexuality. I didn’t know why I liked it but I did. Probably had to do with the boring chemical reactions going through our systems when we’re turned on. That and going through puberty, starting to notice girls in a different way and acknowledging my growing love of womens sexy feet. The rest of my fetish filled mind grew in time.

Luckily as the magazine phase started to pass I found I could go down to NYC and check out the “peep shows” on and near 42nd St. I learned about these filthy little boothes I could go in and for $.25 I could watch a few minutes of a porn movie. Even though I saw some strange and bizzare shit there I kept looking. Hell, you have to be exposed to as much as possible to know who you are and where you stand right? I learned more of what I liked and didn’t; what I found sexy, sexual, hot, weird, odd, NO FUCKING WAY, etc… These places also had other boothes where I could go in and put in a couple of bucks and a panel opens revealing a lone girl doing any and all kinds of sexual acts to herself and/or maybe a friend for me. I guess you can say that was the first form of Sex Cams.

Eventually as personal computers caught on people learned they could show/sell/watch/buy porn on their computer. Which brings us to today – well ok I skipped a bunch here but you get the idea. Now we have some people starting their own personal porn site showing the world their sexcapades. We have large companies paying models and ‘actors’ – do they really act? – to shoot content for their sites. We have Web Cam sites who show people having sex in various ways live for the consumer. We have webmasters who peddle these sites to other horny humans.

Nowadays you can find just about ANYthing on the net. Probably more like anything at all if you’re willing to look hard enough. Technology has brought us this far and I can only imagine where we’re headed in the future. Do we end up in a world like “Sleeper”? Do we just walk into a machine to get our rocks off? Sorry for you young peeps out there who have no idea what I’m talking about. Google the movie Sleeper with Woody Allen from 1973.

Where do you think we’re headed? I’d love to hear from webmasters and surfers alike.
